After several years learning and teaching-to-learn with All Teach Maths Tuition, the majority of our students choose to stay on our teach-to-learn programme in year 12 and 13. It is also open to year 12 or 13 volunteers without experience of learning and teaching-to-learn All Teach Maths, provided they are taking maths A-level and subject to an interview and practice session.
£1000 offered to those from lower income families, to support volunteering without needing a paid job as well
Optional training month at the end of year 11.
Three one month teacher training programmes over the two years (plus two more in year 9 & 10 if you join the pre-training scheme).
Huge amounts of teaching experience with the depth of subject understanding, and the multiple social and practical skills that come from this.
Continued development of mindfulness and emotional intelligence.
Only 90 minutes a week so won’t effect your studies and life interests.
Term time only with 13 weeks paid holiday a year.
Up to 3 x 3 week blocks paid study leave for exam leave at key times.
A reference for university and first employment in which all of your skill sets and strengths will be mentioned at length.
The programme finishes in Easter of year 13 so you can then focus on your studies for the final exam term.
It is highly recommended for young people already attending All Teach Maths Tuition interested in the year 12 & 13 teaching-to-Learn programme to join the training scheme in previous years. This scheme is completely free, and runs neatly along side you regular All Teach Maths sessions. This will also allow you to take part in the month long summer teacher training programme (within the usual term time older group sessions).
